I finally gave into the temptation of trying one of the cheap toys. I could have said I bought it for my grandson, but why not admit that I enjoyed the experience myself.
On this matter, I think this particular model is not very suitable for children. The model is controlled directionally with giving more or less power to one of the engines, and to climb or descent by giving more or less power to both engines.
The latter makes is quite difficult for the model to react quickly to gain height if required - to avoid an obstacle, for example.
