The Iroquois was - and still is - the workhorse for many military services around the world. The German Army Aviation used the UH-1 D model principally as light transport helicopter, carrying goods or troops.

 

Yes, now we could talk about real airborne work and increased responsibilities, but some of the pleasures of flying still remained.
