Ninja_slope_soarer

 

I must admit, this is not one of my best efforts. Built entirely from scrap material and pieces of another “wounded” model, it did, however fly very well in moderate wind. Mind you, on a steep slope with good wind, everything flies.

 

Note the small winglets, and attempt to reduce the drag from the wingtip vortex. You will find better examples on my pages Storm 1 and Storm 2.

 

The Ninja had a wingspan of 1.7 m with a Selig S3021 airfoil.
