Storm1_model_glider
winglet

The Storm design proved particularly successful, I built two of them.

It is essentially straight with only a small amount of taper towards the wing tips.

As the name suggests, it was at home in strong wind conditions, but also proved its value in light to moderate wind. Even in gusty conditions, the winglets helped to keep the model on track.

This variation is completely planked with balsa wood and painted only.

Balsa wood construction.

V-tail and aileron control.

Wingspan of 1.8 m with a Selig S3021 airfoil.
